The 2015 Mercedes-Benz GLA-Class is the French automakers introduction in to the compact SUV segment. Not only does this entry address the day to day driving needs of the average person, it also provides for the adventurous with its off-road capabilities.
The GLA- Class borrows from the front wheel architecture from the Mercedes Class A and B vehicles. The engine is the same as the Class A, however it is believed that only the GLA250 version with an optional "4Matic" offered in the U.S.
Engine & Performance
Under the hood of the 2015 GLA-Class, you receive a two.0 liter, turbocharged, inline four that can producing 208 horsepower. To go with the "4-Matic" (all wheel drive) method, this SUV goes from 0-60 mph in 6.4 seconds with a top speed of 145 mph. This engine is paired with a 7 speed dual clutch automatic transmission.
